Hey! This is an update to let you know what’s going on at the HL HQ. Lots of plans are being made and we need your help once more. As you may already know, we have been utilizing the Voting Polls to help make some decisions regarding HL and what YOU, the fans, want from us! Amazingly, you have decided to take part in a Quiz for a chance to win some GROOVY HL schtuff!! We are still working on the test and the prizes that will be given out to the lucky weiner(s). One of the main prizes is the newest Hungry Lucy 2 disc album, “Glo”, which will hit the streets January 28th! We are also making some of your other wishes come true as far as what you’ve asked for in the polls. Granted, we can’t make everything you’ve requested come true(no matter how good it sounds), but rest assured, we are trying hard to give you what you want

So, I strongly suggest that you pay attention to all the news items from here on out…past and present. It will only prove to help you out in the Quiz!! The quiz will have questions dealing with nearly every realm of Hungry Lucy and those involved with the band…in large and small quantities. You will find out things you always wanted to know, things you thought you knew and a few things you may NOT have wanted to know! Even though we’ll be providing you with a few easy questions, there will be plenty of difficult ones that are gonna make ya dig deep to get ‘em all right!!!

We are pleased to report that Hungry Lucy’s second CD (a 2CD set) “Glō” is completed and will be released Jan. 28th, 2003. We will be taking pre-orders within the next week or two, so stay tuned. Pre-orders will ship direct to you at the same time we ship to our distributors and retail partners. So you’ll have it before it hits the streets!

Glō continues the Hungry Lucy tradition of mellow grooves, catchy melodies and Christa Belle’s enchanting vocals. This album branches out a little further though, into blues & jazz in “Storm” and “Open Window“, celtic on “In the Circle” and classic torch song on the emotional “Stay“. Glō also features a second CD containing remixes from Claire Voyant, Aiboforcen, bloodWIRE, ThouShaltNot, trigger10d, Chandeen, Dreamside, Neikka RPM and Kew. The remixes range from club friendly bum shakers to ambient soundtracks.

A European version of Glō will be released in January also by Alfa Matrix. The European version will be a totally reworked version with new artwork, new track list and Alfa Matrix’s trademark limited edition. Stay tuned for details and release date.
