Glad to see your back now :D :D Hope your mummy gets better soony! I remember this time last year my mum also had a big op, and she wasnt supposed to do anything like laundry orr carry heavy things but she is v stubborn (and so am I) so she did it sometimes lol

I remember thinking Goldfrapp was just a one hit wonder but now I really like her/their work :D I was sure I heard they were having a concert soon but can I find any info? nyooo~ maybe im wrong.

Funny I’ve just gotten into Bjork! I was reluctant because I only enjoyed a few songs and others were a bit odd to listen to. I bought her greatest hits album and Ive listened to it quite a lot lol

Have you ever listened to Joanna Newsom? At first I giggled at her style of singing, but it grew on me. Im also listening to Jose Gonzalez just now :D

whoops too much ranting! (oh I hope I get my Qntal cd soon ;P)

    much hugs and luv!

I tried listening to Bjork a few times… maybe it is just the songs I have heard, but it almost seemed like she was trying too hard to be different.
Clips of her videos that I’ve seen are… umm… interesting.
But she looks darn cute dressed in a swan!

I think, as War-N says, that her more recient work is a lot more difficult to listen to because its so different but i definately like her earlier work.

Look up Piney Gir too :D she is fun and different :P

Telltale Shot was one of my favorites from Glo. :) Had a question for the two of ya’s…. (Sorry, I maybe be in Atlanta by my yankee still shows itself occasionally hehe). In one of the early podcasts, you spoke of how you aren’t super fond of remixes, and in this one War-N said particularly the “oontz oontz” type. What would your feelings be on say, A fan doing a remix of one of your songs? As far as I know it hasn’t been done with a Hungry Lucy song yet, but if it were to happen, would you be open to hearing it and if it were good enough, possibly include it on a release? Just curious. ;)

I was messing around in iTunes and saw that the title of one of your songs from TKAK is censored.

They have ‘High Price of Mistakes’ written as ‘High P***e of Mistakes’ :D

You may want to check with them…

  6. KinGizzard Says:

    ps…

Keeping on the topic that was previously brought up, according to iTunes it looks like the mixes are some of the best sellers… interesting…

  7. War-N Says:

    hey all,

First up … Joanna Newsom … good stuff :)

That’s very strange about The High P***e of Mistakes. I can’t even think of a naughty word that would fit in there. Oh well … perhaps the mystery will make people buy it. Unfortunately, iTunes is a pretty closed box. We can get stuff in there, but not change it once it’s in there!

Remixes: I should have been clearer with my blanket statement on “oontz oontz” remixes. Some of those are great … hell, I did some myself for TKaK.. and yes, people like ‘em. That is why we have included them … get some club play, etc. Many, though, are simply Christa’s vocals over a tasty drum beat … and have nothing to do with the original song. Those are the one’s that just aren’t my cup of tea! :) I don’t expect we will solicit many (if any) remixes in the future.

  8. War-N Says:

ps. Piney Gir has some fun stuff :)

  9. KinGizzard Says:

    LOL War-N!!!

If you want newbies to the site to get into you, quit referring them to other peeps music! J/K ;)
