Tea with Hungry Lucy podcast - Episode 14
Episode 14 of Tea with Hungry Lucy finds Christa and War-N talking about their song My Beloved (from the album To Kill a King) which includes vocals from Alexx Reed (of Thoushaltnot) and Kristy Venrick (of The Azoic) among several family members. Christa explains the origin of St. Valentine’s Day .. beheading and all. War-N goes into Garfunkel madness and describes how an Art Garfunkel (formerly of Simon and Garfunkel) concert sent him back down memory lane. The pair also chat about music they’ve been enjoying recently (Entheos and Rasputina) as well as some upcoming shows (Chicks RockFest, gig with Entheos, and ElectroFest v2.0). Ending the podcast is a song from long-time friend and songwriter turned actor, Clete Francis.

I honestly didn’t know that was the origin of Valentine’s Day. I honestly just thought someone made it up and it was all about admitting your love to someone … or something like that.
I think the whole WORLD is ill at the moment, everyone over here is ill anyway.
War-N I wouldn’t worry about being obsessive about Imogen, I really am now too XD Went and bought Frou Frou’s album “Details” just cuz I knew it would be fabulous as long as Immi was singing
I hope to see her concert in April!! However I have no idea how big the concert room is, and its standing tickets, so I don’t wanna be waaaaaaaaay away from the stage ;_; what to do!
I will be at your gigs in “spirit”, as always. I’ll see you live one day… one day!!
sorry to keep being obsessive and commenting on every podcast… me loves them

If you get a chance to see/hear Immi, you must! She’s even better live.
and Skebbie …. don’t ever worry about too many comments. They’re always fun to read, and it means a lot that you care so much!

We always enjoy reading your comments Skeb
Listening to the podcast is our late Sunday evening treat. And this week’s episode was a bountiful treat indeed. But we really should have a cuppa while we listen ( or a wee dram :-|). And Clete’s song to end this week’s episode was so “right on”

I’m very relieved that the song was really romantic after all - I was dreading breaking it to my listeners had it been otherwise !!
Your friend’s song was pure brilliance too - I had to work hard not to look like the bus looney as I sniggered and chortled to myself on hearing it.
Another great podcast you two. It really is one of my most anticipated listens of the week as it’s like sitting in with great pals for a chat and a laugh, even though in reality I’m squashed up against the bus window by the obese person who’s decided to sit beside me
