Tea with Hungry Lucy podcast - Episode 19
In this whopping 40 minute episode of Tea with Hungry Lucy, Christa and War-N are joined by War-N’s parents. We think War-N felt like he was gonna get in trouble if he said something wrong. This week’s story behind the song is for the song Glo (from the album of the same name). Christa tells us how she wrote it for her Momma … sweet. War-N begs for work as a starving artist by asking promoters and venues from around the country to get in touch if they are interested in booking Hungry Lucy this Summer/Fall. After a slight technical glitch (user error) we launch into OPM (other people’s music). This week War-N talks about “Hold on Love” by Azure Ray (from their album Hold on Love) as well as “Heaven” by Lamb (from the album What Sound) and “Breathe Me” by Sia (from the album Colour the Small One). Both songs were used in the fabulous HBO series “Six Feet Under” (RIP). “Breathe Me” was used for the final montage of the entire series … very powerful. Christa talks about the band The Shroud (and their new/old album Drowning Dreams) and the fabulous band Claire Voyant (specifically their song, Love is Blind). War-N talked about Anji Bee (of Lovespirals) and her new podcast, Chillcast. The episode rounds out with another Thorn Apple track featuring the vocal talents of War-N’s dad, Peter Harrison … entitled Mezza Luna.

**Uuuurp** - oh, pardon me ! Listeners should be thankful they were spared the full 2-odd minute rendition of the Three From Leith Burping Chorus. It was a belter (or should that be belcher ?).
Another wonderful show - you can never have too much laughter as it’s guaranteed to lift your mood, so well done Harrisons Sr and Jr for laughing like drains and getting me laughing along.
Mr & Mrs Harrison should get their own show
Now - how do I get this Thornapple CD ??……
