Tea with Hungry Lucy podcast - Episode 26
In this week’s short Tea with Hungry Lucy podcast Christa and War-N announce a brief hiatus from the podcast so they can get some actual music done! In their absence, Christa recommends Grant Mason’s Three from Leith podcast and War-N recommends Anji Bee’s Chillcast. War-N also has a few for fellow geeks (This Week in Tech and FLOSS Weekly). War-N has one musical recommendation this week (the band Mídorí from Sweden). The episode ends with one of Christa’s sound sculpture oddities. We’ll be back in a few weeks!

ah, i forgot to comment on last week. but i remember one thing i was gunna say. it was that when you were talking about the “You Are” video being edited and stuff, I realised I still had the link to the original video, and its still there and still the same so I didn’t know if you had forgotten or just wanted to keep it there or… I dunno
Now that was short! we didnt hear any jingles… … sniifffff! waaah! lol I’ll miss yas

My next 9.6 mile cycle to work is tomorrow (probably in the rain, but needs must if I want to get slim and fit). Then at the end of a hard day it’ll be 9.6 miles home again. Ach, what’s 40 mins or so of pushing yourself ?! That’s quicker than the bus…

Grant, I bow down to you! I could never cycle that far. I just hate looking tired and crappy when i get to work… so… i take the bus… even tho a bus driver threatened me O.O

aww… thanks for the kind words about missing us. we’ll miss all of you too. even though we don’t actually SPEAK to you physically, we still love the connection it gives all of us. after all, without all of you there would be no us! thank you for always supporting and loving us.
the “You Are” that you have Skeb is probably the original without edits! i had forgotten we’d put it up. so, i guess it still works. huh? oh well. glad you enjoyed the original while it lasted
ok. we’ll talk soon. we’ve got a lot of work to do until then. that’ll give us more to talk about!! besides, i was running out of lyrics to discuss anyways.

So I had to play some ketchup (iPod in the shop) and come to find out you ain’t not gonna have no time fer us…
That’s ok…
I also from time to time would watch the You Are link… I never noticed anything odd though, I just remember at the concert last year a ‘Scene Deleted’ screen appeared… do you have the newly edited video?
And lastly… never, never, EVER, end a podcast with something so gott dang eerie!

I get to work, get out of my lycras and shower before going up to my desk, so I look all lovely and fresh ! Only downside is having to see some people from work naked…. erk ! Not the kind of image I like to have in my head next time I see them around the office
The other day I came out of the shower to find the Chief Exec smiling at me and saying ‘Morning’ as he got changed to go to the gym….
War-N & Christa - hope the recording’s coming along a treat. When can we order the finished product ?

hopefully, we’ll be ready to have orders in July sometime. BUT, no promise at this early time
we’re progressing at a lovely pace (War-N is mixing right now!) and just have to do some more photos for the artwork. i’m really excited about the EP. it’s about time we had something new to offer! i must say, i miss doing the Podcast though. but, we can’thave any Podcasts until we finish our EP!! ;p

One day you’ll have to post your side of a conversation in advance, and I’ll record my side in the show and you can drive along talking to me, in a strange kind of way. Or perhaps not. I think I need to go and have a cup of tea and stop thinking daft thoughts
Before I go, I got a Dazzle Video Creator Platinum gadget so I can now pull all of my analogue camcorder tapes into the PC and make DVDs out of them. The software has a silly facility called ‘SmartMovie’ that makes a film in the style of your choosing out of the imported video; you select the video parts you want to use, add any music you’d like and hit a button. Instant music video. I got a selection of film of Jasna at a very early age and made a film with ‘Her Song’ on it. It brought tears to my eyes it was so damn cute and lovely…..
