Rather than spend months in production, this time around the duo present “Before We Stand … We Crawl” as a collection of six raw, emotional songs. These basic arrangements use piano, acoustic guitar, strings, wind instruments and sparse drum parts to underpin Christa Belle’s heart-felt lyrics and highly emotive vocals. Taking the “less is more” approach, the duo purposely left each song exposed with emotion at the surface, stripping away any pretense that may surround electronic music.

Just going thru it now, just got in from work. I gotta say I think these new songs are amung the best you have done

We got our CD last night and have played it thru many times. The whole EP has a an up-close and personal feel to it, we thought - WE LOVE IT. As HL said heart-felt. That certainly comes across in Christa’s vocals … and the music is very “organic” -is that a valid description? definitely lots of very nice acoustic instruments. We’d love to know what all the instruments are on each of the tracks - maybe that’ll be the subject of a future podcast
