Tea with Hungry Lucy Netcast - Episode 48
What’s that sweet music I hear? That’s the sound of a new, non-silly intro for the duo Hungry Lucy’s fabby netcast! Inspired by the day, War-N decided to get up and write some new tunes. Thusly, the new intro was born. After the intro, the couple discussed their Halloween and all the treats, painting their ceiling (FINALLY!), how many cats Christa’s had since childhood (10 thus far!) and what she wants for Christmas. Skebbie asked, so CB answered
War-N’s OPM was the artist BT. War-N explains a bit about BT, his latest release (This Binary Universe) and why he likes him. CB’s OPM’s were Willie Nelson and his new version of “Amazing Grace” that she and War-N heard by chance while on an errand, and the other was José Gonzalez suggested by their friend Sam of trigger10d. Good call Sam!! José also works with Zero 7. War-N also mentioned that Imogen Heap is touring the US again in Nov/Dec. Remember Tuesday November 7th is election day here in the US. Vote if you are at all able. All the issues count!!! While you’re at it, vote for Hungry Lucy in the YouTube Underground contest!
Keep the feedback coming!. Why Netcast?

I voted.
I thought it was an excersise in futility, but I voted.
There was a HUGE sign saying not to use anything other that the implement issued to us for casting our votes. I looked in my booth, and found a disposable Bic pen…
ps. thought the intro/ending sounded a bit like “We Won’t Go” had to listen to that song RIGHT afterwards

i thought the same thing about the song to myself. good ear my friend!
that’s funny about your voting booth… a Bic pen. nice! us folk here in Hamilton had them thar newfangled electronic touch pads. it were rall simple to use.
i had a glitch during my ballot casting (nothing at all like netcasting OR podcasting!!) that was quite strange. serves them right for trying to digitalize everything here in Ohio!! now we’ll still be the odd ones out for problems!
ok. time to take War-N to the bus.

Ooooh - that Scary Priest photo gave me the willies !!!
Was that Mr Harrison Sr looking rather pale and ghostly there as the vampire ? That’s the colour we Scots go just before we revert back to our natural shade of pale blue when the summer sunburn wears off and winter sets back in
I’m going to have great bother cycling in the dark now as I just now that priest chappy is going to leap out of the shadows one day and I’ll just FILL my winter bib tights !!
Great show as ever too - I love the new theme music. It was verrrrry luvvvely. So nice in fact that I could eat it all up.
