Tea with Hungry Lucy Netcast - Episode 49
Birds!! This week finds CB & War-N making new music, cleaning out their basement and parting with some musical instruments that were used in their early tracks. CB tells us a bit on her writing method, how she begins, and introduces us to a new piano piece she wrote only this morning. OPM selections included Lily Holbrook from Christa’s choice list as well as Saskia and Nouvelle Vague from War-N. War-N found these artists on a fabulous, new music sharing site named HayStack.com. Apparitions is discussed quite a bit due to SHOUTOUT postings, and new found appreciation is found by both CB & War-N. After all, it is how they got started! Christa reads a wonderful listener e-mail and the duo share their thoughts on that. War-N tells us about a very elaborate new video for the song Storm that was created by Sedona Grace Productions & Miss Aeryn Parker Productions.
Always feel free to tell us what is on your mind!. Why Netcast?

i loved the little piece of music, twas loveleh it was
I watched the video for Storm and I was expecting it to be like “home movie” kind of quality, but its actually very good! No idea what the video is getting at tho, especially at the end o.o; maybe im a bit dumb.
also agree with the words in that e-mail which you read. You guys rocks muchly!
Now I can’t remember if you ever discussed this before, and I’ll feel daft if you have. I wanted to ask you, because you seem to be successful in what you do, even if its not chart topping and your not worldwide famous or whatever, is there any kind of info or tips you would give to other artists out there who are wondering how to at least get an album done? its an odd question, but there are people I work with who seem to be going in the same direction, but are sort of just making music to themselves because they are unsure of where to go next.
woo~ I was at the dentist today. I drink tea sooooooo much but I somehow manage to keep my teeth lookin good, so good that instead of a 6 month check-up I don’t have to go back for a year
woo! the dentist is soooo dull.
have you ever seen The Catherine Tate Show?
November 13th, 2006 at 8:50 pm
cool on yer nice teefs
my teeth are pretty good overall… just the one “Faye Dunaway” tooth at the bottom
and, thanks on the props for the new tunage. i quite liked it myself.
i have seen the Catherine Tate show once or twice, but don’t know when it runs regularly on BBC America. it was very funny, but i don’t recall the skits specifically. we just saw a great comedy show on Showtime called “Wild West” with Dawn French. i love her!!! i’ve liked everything she’s done. “Vicar of Dibley” was a short series, but so funny. oh geez. i do run on. soz.
we will talk about the “indie” music thing on a cast soon. we have spoken about it, but we can always re-hash
ok. more next week for your listening pleasures. thanks for always letting us know what ya want Skebbie!! we’re more than happy to make it so

Another great ‘cast - have been enjoying them all. Your’s is the only one I really listen to, always interesting to hear about your music, other interests and life in general.
Lily Holbrook is great - came across her “Running from the Sky” album on CDBaby the first time I was there and was entranced. They still sell it, although now it has the later photographic artwork (which is pretty cool) not the cute cartoony one I got from them. Amazon has both of her albums - the first is the same price as CDBaby, the second album is on special now (drat! LOL) - I bought them both from there too (yes, I bought both artwork versions of RFTS - I liked it so much!
) She’s definitely worth a look/listen!
