Tea with Hungry Lucy - Episode 57

Tea with Hungry LucyEpisode 57 of Tea with Hungry Lucy starts off with War-N apologizing for dissing his own music after being set straight by Angel (Kingizzard). Christa agrees with Angel and points out that War-N was doing the dissing, not her. Hungry Lucy treats us to a live performance of “Open Window” (from the album Glo) and the pair discuss past live performances of the song. Christa tells us that t-shirts are coming soon. Other people’s music touches on Erasure and their fab 1992 concert DVD “The Swan, the Tank and the Balloon“.

    YES YES YES …we’d love more live performances on your podcasts from time to time. Tonight’s performance was wonderfuel. Christa ….. the range and texture of your vocals was oh so yummy. And we loved the music War-N, and actually loved that keyboard sound too Christa. Like you, never thought that hru the podcast, you have a worldwide audience for your live performance. Looking forward to the next one :-)

    You guys are still da shiznit. Would like to hear how the live version would have sounded with the more whispy type of keyboard sound… Opie musta changed the setting on you, Christa, since his vocals were cut off. Jealous lil monkey phucker…

    ah, my dear Angel. you will have to wait and see like the rest of the HL fans out there. ;) i think you’ll like what’s coming though…FO SHO!!

    and yes…OPie messed with my controls while i wasn’t looking…darned Muhnkee!! but, it was great to play some keys again :)

    Most definitely want more live performances! A lovely song, that Window one.

    And the keyboard part was grand. I think that timbre works for me better than the intended one.
