    Maratha Stewart/Delia Smith eat your heart out!
    I look forward to pressing my tofu and seeing how it turns out.
    You should seriously consider adding another string to your webcasting bow and doing a ‘hungry lucy gets fed’ show..

    What no “Cooking with Christa” jingle, that is coffee that I did not spit out in laughter. Second I for one don’t mind your self evaluation on the show. It is a very important part of the creative process. That you see your old songs as not being as good as you would make them now is a sign of growth (I think they are great by the way) As good as they are you have gotten better and have made changes in your methods and style ect. it is understandable that, to you, they sound inferior to your newer work. Also its your show you should feel free to speak your mind I think that is a big part of what makes it the best band podcast out there and why we like it.

    As for copy protection I hate it. I feel that once i have paid for something I should be able to do any thing non-commercial I want with it . I love CD’s one they sound better two you can rip them into other formats make back ups… as for mp3(aac) downloads I just cant see paying for them copy protected or not 128 kbps is just not a quality sounding product. I happily pay a bit more for cd’s.
    Ok I am off to take some pictures of this model and her lovely French duo.

    Iain…i’m glad you liked hearing the recipe :) i hope you get good results with what i said. it’s rather difficult to voice sometimes without planning what to say. i did it all from my head, and went through it as i do when i make it (i’m making it tonight, actually! i should take some pics for ya too.). it’s very easy, just multiple steps. oh, and i like the “Hungry Lucy Gets Fed” idea…hmmm. i have wanted to expand my cooking “stuff” for others to enjoy. i’m working on an idea now,but another idea isn’t abad thing at all. thanks!!

    Happy Phantom…thanks for your feedback on the copy protection. i agree!! i also agree that it’s “our show”, but we always like to consider what you guys want. a nice balance of us and you is what we shoot for :) thanks for telling us your thoughts.

    till next time guys!

    take care, and eat well :)

    Yeah, I know I said I don’t like it when you ‘bad mouth’ your old stuff, but Happy Phantom (who by the way has possibly the coolest screen name on here) is correct in saying;

    “That you see your old songs as not being as good as you would make them now is a sign of growth… it is understandable that, to you, they sound inferior to your newer work.”

    For some reason I could not articulate that when I wrote a response that one time… also he added;

    “…its your show you should feel free to speak your mind…”

    I’ve always felt a little guilty, like I pushed War-N around or som’n…

    Copy protection worries me. I prefer CDs but way prefer my iPod when it comes to having the freedom to listen to whatever CD I choose, when I ‘need’ to hear it. Why am I scared? What would happen if I decide when the Pod dies to get another type of mp3 playa? It would be kinda hard (and ’spensive) to sit there and burn a CD re-burn it on to the hard drive in another form, THEN have to re-enter my songs info!

    YUCK!

    Oh! And Christa, didja get a new chair?

  5. Christa Belle Says:

    Angel, i did not get my new chair yet. still squeaking, i’m afraid :/ but thanks for askin. “But ya are, Christa. Ya are in that chair!” ;) i love Bette Davis!!

    talk to ya’ll later,
