You are part of my Sunday routine, check email, read post secret, and listen to TWHL. The song CB was singing was Naked Eye by Luscious Jackson. (just in case you wanted to know) I didn't know what really to expect from "Little Children" & found myself quite surprised by the end of it. I tried to explain to someone else after viewing why it was a good movie & couldn't quite gather my thoughts properly...but I loved how...the things you were supposed to find shocking or horrifying...became muted and what set the unease of the viewer was the seething desperation and isolation hidden under everything. The part played by Jackie Earle Haley was simply stunning. By the end I felt like my head sort of unraveled a bit with such conflicting emotions. For me this applies also to Tears For Fears and to Songs From The Big Chair in particular. Shout is ok, but I never liked Everybody Wants To Rule The World. However, the rest of that album is so much better and Listen is one of the best songs on that album. By the way, I could be mistaken, but I don't think that the version on the album is live. It's preceded by a live version of Broken, so maybe that gave you the impression that Listen was live too.
