Tea with Hungry Lucy #83 (War-N Finds a Warren)
This week brings such wondrous excitement, where to begin?? HL chat about getting ready for live shows, making audio tracks and making new videos for the new songs they will be performing (don’t you wish YOU could hear?? You CAN!!) CB chats a bit about vegetarian rennet and the sources to find cheeses made with said rennet, which she will post on her christabelle.com site soon. OPM from CB this week was Angelo Badalamenti and her viewing of Twin Peaks season 2 on the channel ‘Chiller‘. War-N had no OPM, nor did we use the jingle! Happy, Angel?
The duo also discuss their recent finding of a warren out in their back yard, whilst mowing. What could have been VERY bad is now a saga of “will he get kicked out of the hole?”. Stay tuned to see how Trauma, the bunny, fares with his siblings and Momma Bunny!!
To make sure you get YOUR new HL shirt or hoodie in the size you desire, pre-order HERE! They’re going fast, and we don’t even have them in stock yet!

No my test results weren’t bloody well weighted

Your sign on and off music reminded us of sumting else da da dee da da ,, diddle diddle diddle dum … but then we did just both succumb to a glass of Lindeman’s Shiraz. We though rennet was just in the milk … oh dear .. but then we did just both enjoy a glass of Lindeman’s …. hic hic

Now when people ask, “Where’s the OPM music?” you’ll just say, “Remember that guy that told us not to bad mouth ourselves? He got tired of the jingle, so we didn’t want to lose a listener.”
BAH!
LOL!
You two are doing the right thing by leaving the rabbits be. All too often I’ve heard people talking about wanting to rescue some baby rabbits because the mother ‘abandoned’ them.
When, usually, Mama Wabbit is out getting some fast food, and veggies are hard to find via fast food.
I used to live in a place where I almost gave some bunnies ‘hare’ cuts… they ran all over the yard, I screamed and jumped back. No one was hurt, and they all grew up and Mama came back the next year.

I was the one asking about parmesan with vegetarian rennet, well I found some! (But can’t find info where they sell it) http://www.belgioioso.com/VeggieParm.htm.
A few weeks ago we went to a winery that happened to have a creamery and to our surprise all the cheeses were made with vegetarian rennet! They don’t sell it in stores but they do mail orders http://www.blackstarfarms.com/creamery
The wine is tasty too.
And http://www.cabotcheese.com only uses vegetable rennet.
Ok now I’m hungry, just got home from work time for wine and cheese!
And for those wondering about rennet, just go to wikipedia, lots of info there.

Oh, the Laura Dern + Grace Zabriskie movie might be ‘Inland Empire’ by Mr Lynch. Is it finally being released?

I thought War-N sounded more like James Blunt than Art Garfunkel. Sorry.

Thanks for the Birfday wishes everybody
I had a glorious day!
Shawn, I don’t know if ‘Inland Empire’ is being released yet, but thanks for the info!! I’ll keep an eye out for a date!
Angel, the bunny babies are all ok!
We actually saw the Momma nursing them the morning of my birthday. It was so sweet to see that. I saw Trauma, front and center, nursing away. The clipped ear and white spot on his head gave him away. Momma was good and didn’t kick him out
I watch the hole everyday from our bathroom window and make sure I see movement. I think they’re going to venture out soon. I hope I can catch some pics! I even see a little nose or two poke out of the straw now and again. It’s such a fun thing to watch!
Ok. Must go be wifey and get chores done.
Take care all!

Do you remember when I had a similar bunnies experience War-N in the 1990’s? Mum, and I thought you, were watching me on the ride-on mower. All of a sudden a bunch of baby bunnies shot out in all different directions from under the mower. Mum was shrieking at me to stop, as I didn’t see them initially. All of them survived and lined up on next-doors drive shaking all over as they recovered from a very scary experience.
