I christened my Tee today - very comfy! The bag and shirt were both marked XXL (not XL) so it could well have been a "midnight special!" LOL, but like I said it's not a problem at all. My "gibbon arms" fit the hoodie too which is a relief! ;-) I just have to hope for a return to some cooler weather here so I can get a chance to wear it before next winter. So much for La Nina (?) and the badly needed winter rains here - with spring going the way it is we're in for a continuation of our drought conditions I fear... Things aren't looking good for the garden - everything's dry so I'm going to have to start watering on Sundays before they take that away from us with the next round of water restrictions that seem to be inevitable... :-\ Oops, I'm waffling again...

Thanks for the sneak peak of the new song, I want more!

I would love a food podcast! The food network is one of our favorite channels, even though there's not tons of vegetarian recipes, I always learn something.

No, no, no, just thought it was cute! I liked that one episode that you did it in, but if you are ever low on subject matter, looking on the blog may be a fun thing to try!

Wow! What a lot of replies! Thanks guys :)

I will take into consideration the food podcast, hosted by me, but I had a lot of concerns about doing that. But, as we said, it was just a "poke to the public" to see if there was any interest. I see that there is, so I shall think about it.

Quiet1...I'm sorry you got a wrong shirt size! We always go by the sizes on the invoice, so sincere apologies. I'm glad it will still work for ya. War-N was just saying (it was him who packed the order) he checked the sizes on the order, invoice and shirt bag and said they were the same. The only thing he said he didn't do was make sure the shirt in the bag was tagged appropriately. We were up doing that until Midnight, so it's possible it was wrong. Obviously, it was! Oopsie! So sorry.

Angel, we do still occasionally go to the blog to answer questions. There just haven't been many lately. Plus, I just answered Laura's question. Was there something you wanted an answer to, my dear? If so, fire away! :)

Well, more orders to pack up, so catch ya'll later! Remember to come to Dayton Friday and check us out!!!

Take care all,

My t-shirt arrived today, which made up for no TWHL yesterday on my iRiver as it hadn't been posted up by the time I was downloading my subscriptions for the bus journey on Monday. I missed my dose of silly chat and laughs to cheer me up after a day at work :-(

Not only that, but Twin Peaks Season 2 arrived last Friday so between these two packages, I'm a happy bunny !!

I'll post a link to a pic soon, but I'll have to wait until next Monday for a TWHL fix as I never listen to music when I'm cycling.

Yes, we think we prefer the foodie stuff as part of the existing TWHL .... makes it such a diverse smorgasbord of fun for the whole family. So disregard our "two hands up" pic we sent you Sparky.

Big thanks on the French bread segment! I feel special and it looks like other listeners liked the info, too. I have never done the stretching stuff, so that should help quite a bit. I also appreciate the water tip for in the oven. That should make a big difference, too. If you have a chance to post the recipe I'd be forever grateful!

Fun show and loved hearing the old intro. I just have to sing along!

It was fun listening to the old intro!

KLF? Keep Looking Foward. Loved that album, the first one (cassette) I EVER bought with my own money!

Shari Lewis was Lambchop's mama. She died in the late 90's... I think of cancer... very sad.

I like hearing the recepies and stuff on the show, it is not all that often, so don't fret that you are scaring us away.

I find it entertaining also to hear War-N in the background reapeating key words and such.

Also; not sure if anyone has commented on this before, but I liked it when you went to the blog to answer people's questions on the podcast.

A Christa-Belle food podcast sounds neat (is that the "poodcast" you referred to in this week's intro? ;-P ) but I do enjoy the food-related diversions in the TWHL podcasts too (perhaps you coule rename it Tea-and-Cake/Pasta/Bread/Tofu/etc with Hungry Lucy? :-) ) I often feel "the need to knead" so this weeks French loaf tips were most interesting.

As for falafels - yum! Speaking of falafels, it reminded me of a quirky Aussie movie you might like to check out sometime - "He Died With A Felafel In His Hand". I've no idea if it's available in the states as it wasn't a huge movie here, and it doesn't have a whole lot to do with falafels either, but is worth a look. :-P I don't really know how to explain it (so check out the IMDB page below), but I've seen it twice and as I write this I feel I need to go out and hire the DVD again which is unusual for me so it. I should warn you that the opening/early scenes involving cane-toads might offend your Vegetarian sensibilities, but fast-forward part that if you need to (I don't remember it being graphic so much as suggestive) because the rest of the movie is worth it IMO.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0172543/

And speaking of cane-toads and movies, you just have to see this brilliant, very funny (but occasionally "graphic"...) Australian CG-animated short film. If you just remember they're the worst kind of vermin here (except perhaps the sort of IT con-sultant we have in at work at the moment...) you'll understand why they have such a hard time over here!...
http://www.cane-toad.com/index.htm

My t-shirt and hoodie arrived today - very nice! The t-shirt was a size larger than I had ordered but don't worry!, it's fits OK and will be more comfortable in the upcoming summer too (and the way I'm going lately I will probably need the extra space a 2XL Tee provides... Christa's delicious recipes won't help in that regard I fear! LOL)

Cheers!

You can never have enough Falafel, especially if it's organic :-)
I prefer mine with salsa, cheese and pitta bread...
