Tea with Hungry Lucy #92 (The Hot Topic of a Free Panty)
War-N & Christa return after a week off for Episode 92 of Tea with Hungry Lucy. More remix news this week in the form of HL’s remix of The Azoic’s song “Ever” released on their new Re:Illumination CD (which War-N incorrectly called Illuminate … duh!). Also War-N’s remix of The Dreamside’s “Into a Frenzy” has just been released on their “The 13th Chapter” album. The podcast closes with a sneak peak of that track. W & CB also talk about their Halloween party and trick or treat festivities on Halloween proper. War-N speaks of his creative slump and Christa shares a story of her free panty courtesy of Victoria’s Secret … now there’s a Hot Topic!
War-N asks any podcast listeners to leave a comment … just so we know how many of you are listening. Come back for a live performance of “Rebirth” on next week’s podcast!

Roy’s amazing HL pumpkin carving!

Of course you realize that the lord and lady always tune in. So much easier nowadays than trying to get Radio Luxembourg on my crystal set.
Another chortle-inducing podcast, sprinkled as usual, with what a vegetarian does best
Loved the remix …. “Oi’ll give it foive”

A week just isn’t the same without my dose of witty banter and all things HL. You can guarantee that I listen every week. So long as the show’s posted up by the time I load up the iRiver with my podcast subscriptions every Sunday night, you accompany me either to or from work the very next day.
The IT Crowd - brilliant. “I’m disabled !!”
More hot comedy tips: If you’ve not already heard it, you should try “Down The Line”, a spoof phone-in debate show from the makers of the Fast Show (featuring most of the cast plus guests). It’s on Radio 4. Or try “Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show” or “The National Theatre of Brent’s ‘The Arts and How They Was Done’”, also both Radio 4 comedies. The latter two are not on at the mo, but you should be able to find them out there….

Still listening! Take all the time you need on the new album, we’ll still be here. I’m getting plenty of enjoyment from your CDs.
I picked up the Asleep By Dawn CD/DVD Saturday at Hot Topic (Actually I picked up 2 so I can gift one). The cashier asked for my ID because I was using my Visa, I asked her if she was checking my ID to make sure I wasn’t too old to be in this store. She said “No, my parents shop here.” That just made me feel older as I was probably old enough to be her dad! Anyway, great song! I would have paid the same price just for that song.

Good to know, Bibo! I feel old going in there now, too. I am very happy that you liked our song ‘Hill’ and that you didn’t mind paying for it
Oh, I found Bel Giosio (sp?) cheeses, but they weren’t vegetarian rennet. It’s probably a specific line of veg-head cheeses that I can’t get here. Oh well. Thanks for the FYI though. I’ll keep on lookin’!
Grant!! Good to hear from ya. I felt like a bit of a ditz having said you were close to your 100th episode, considering I had just listened to episode 108!! DUH!! Sorry about that. I think I said that a few podcasts ago. Didn’t mean to sound uninformed. You’re still my top podcast choice in the car!! I guess we’re “travellin’ buddies”!!
Thanks for the comedy suggestions. I’m sure if you like it, we’ll like it. “You Berk!!”
I Love Moss!!!
Well, things to do, pictures and video to mutilate. Talk to everyone next week. Thanks for stopping in to let us know you’re still out there!!!
Take care,
cb

Christa,
I don’t know how far away Meijer is from you (www.meijer.com) but they are trying to cater to vegetarians/vegans more. I talked to the manager of the cheese department at my local store and she said ordering cheeses without animal rennet was on her list of priorities.

Hey Bibo!
We have a Meijer just down in Hamilton…about 4 miles from our house. I shall look there and see. Thanks for the info!!! I’m always scanning wrappers and such. It’s just something I got used to as a VegHead. It’s nice to not have to look when you find a brand you can trust
Take care, and thanks!!

Christa - don’t worry about the ’show 100′ comment - it made me smile when I heard it… always good when someone thinks you’re younger than you look

I’m listening! Every week…usually Sundays when I can indulge my two favorite internet addictions, TWHL & PostSecret.

I’m down here in Cape Town, South Africa. Love listening to you guys. Keep going!
