Tea with Hungry Lucy #93 (Where's My Johnny Bag?)
This week the duo are a bit too relaxed for their own good. With the arrival of their new baby kitty, Pullo, they have just been loungin’ around the ‘ouse with the boys enjoying the rainy day. But, OPM’s were abound. CB’s choice was Faun Fables‘ musical masterpiece “Family Album” from 2004. War-N’s choices were from the two former parts of the Lamb, Lou Rhodes and her new solo album (Bloom) and Andy Barlow’s new project called Luna Seeds. If you haven’t seen it already, War-N made a video of his hair being cut to donate to Locks of Love organization. A nice, homegrown batch of musician hair will now help out a little guy or gal who needs it more than he did.
This weeks ‘cast ends with a live, piano version of the song “Rebirth” from the album “Glo“. A secret lyric is revealed that has never before been sung, or recorded! What a treat! CB lets us in on the link between the song Rebirth and the concept behind the album “To Kill A King“. Oooh…what yumminess this week holds!
So, does anyone know? What the ____ is a johnny bag?

Awwwwwwww…… that is a picture of heart-tugging cuteness, so much so that even a man goes gooey over it
When I was a kid, a ‘johnny bag’ was another name for a condom, aka ‘rubber johnny’, ’spunk bag’ etc etc (if you’ll pardon my language). Miffed that the podcast wasn’t up by the time I downloaded my subs last night, but since I was selected for the jury today I have another two bus journeys this week at least to listen. Failing that, I’ll be listening in the kitchen on my wi-fi radio !

Such a cute kitten! As far as the chewing of the wires, while it may look mean in the product video (although it makes me belly laugh when the cats set it off) we are using a product called SSSCAT to keep our cat out of 2 areas that she was using as a litter box. It is a can of compressed air with an infrared sensor (and on some models an audible alarm) that when triggered causes the can to spray a burst of air. It only took a couple of times for her to learn to stay away. Once in a while we’ll hear one of them go off at night, but it is very rare that she goes near it anymore. And the one we have with an alarm on it only took one time for her to learn. Well worth the investment to not have to clean up cat piss! http://www.multivet.net/en/products/ssscat/

the kitten’s cute!! no real shcok there, though. I like this version of Rebirth’s lyrics, btw, they really go well with the story behind To Kill A King
I really need to start listening to your podcast again, this is the first one I’ve listened to since about 30 something
