Tea with Hungry Lucy #109 (Big Ass Ham)

Tea with Hungry Lucy (now with added socks)With a spankingly wonderful recording session comes a new tag line to tease your ear ‘oles! Angela, CB’s eldest sister, came up to record her vocals for the song she co-wrote called “Erase Her” and contributed much more than anticipated! You can hear more about that when you listen to this podcast!!

The OPM’s this week were a blast from the past with Janet Jackson, Rhythm Nation to be precise, and Ketty Lester (CB’s link to Little House on the Prairie AND David Lynch all in the same person). War-N’s delicious nugget from the 80′s was Hazel O’Connor, specifically the song “Eighth Day”. Both Christa and War-N raved about the film “Once” which you must watch immediately! Much more was mentioned, but it’s time for food. Go have a listen and find out for yerself!!

All of our videos are now in working order on our main Hungry Lucy site. Go check ‘em out, if you haven’t already!

So, what’s on YOUR mind? Thoughts, concerns, ramblings??

You have a didgeriddo? Have you used it any Hungry Lucy songs?

Heh. Now I have a sudden irrational fear that one of you is going to write back and say, “*How* did you miss my three minute didgeriddo solo on ‘To Kill a King?’

Fret not, Joseph. War-N has only played his doowah stick once on the podcast a while back. It was merely to see if he could do it! It has not been recorded in any song…yet ;)

    Thanks for listening!

    Take care,

    Himmm,
There I was, enjoying a lovely HL podcast (#109, and shortly after the OPM started, the podcast came to an abrupt end! Perhaps it was the wishing me a happy birthday that really mussed things up, I guess there will have to be a repost, or something, as iTunes only has 8:24 of the podcast!

Odd .. no problem with my iTunes download (got the whole thing).

Anyone else having issues with their iTunes download?

Yay, podcast!! You can tell that I’m really behind on listening to your podcast, the newest one is 113 and I’m on 109.

I’m stilling listening to it, but I felt that I had to say something about the time that it has taken you two to get a new CD out. Don’t worry about it, no guilt for it.

I think you’re right about the one’s that really care about your music will still be here, even if it take’s other year for the CD to come out. I’d rather wait other year and get a really good CD then have other CD in less then a year after the last one and it not be good.

Sorry for the rant, but I just had to say it (or type it . . .) I love your podcast and your music.

    So thanks you guys :)

And please, give up on the ‘big ass ham’! It gets old really fast :)
