Tea with Hungry Lucy #122 (Paolo the Podcast Puter)

Tea with Hungry Lucy (now with added socks)Good Lord. It’s time for Tea with Hungry Lucy! Episode 122 has Christa and War-N talking about recent work on “The Best Day of Her Life”. You can hear the genesis of this song in episode 112 (The Evolution of Pajamas). The duo mention the remaining few copies of Glo (which will not be re-pressed as a double CD). So get your copy soon if you want one!

OPM (other people’s media) touches on the talents of Zoe Keating. Check out her Radio Lab special at Radio Lab’s website. W&CB also talked about some great 80s videos during this weekend’s 80 hours of the 80s on VH-1 Classic. Do you feel as old as I do?

Fab films viewed recently include “The Kite Runner” (and it’s great soundtrack) and “The Darjeeling Limited“. Both moving and funny for very different reasons.

What’s up with you?!

Thank you for the enjoyable podcast.

I had an idea regarding the Glo CD … maybe you could setup a quick poll online, where fans could vote for their favorite remix. Then the top 3 (or how many would fit on the remainder of the CD) get included in the new single pressing. Hope you have a nice week.

Aww thanks for the birthday wishes!

Please keep doing the story behind the song, I really like it. But then I am also one of those people that listens to the audio commentary on DVDs.

Got sucked into the VH1 80 from the 80s too, but missed out on most of it. Love a whisper to a scream!

All that talk of cooking made me hungry and wanted to go make gnooci. I still need to try your ragu recipe!

I should put up the Golden Gnocchi recipe, too! Perhaps I can get to that in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the feedback, as usual. It really does help to make “Tea” accessible to all!

    Take care,
